My focus within Fashion Design is primarily bridal and eveningwear design. I am continually inspired by the looks of 1940s and 50s. One of my favorite films, My Fair Lady, has inspired me since I was little girl and eveningwear became my niche. I am inspired by the late Charles James as well as by as the works of Christian Dior.
While in college, I had the pleasure of being the Design Intern for Jessica McClintock. My experience and drive allowed me to be promoted the Design Assistant just a few short months after I started.
After college, I spent over two years as a Product Development Engineer, working in Girls Sportswear and Dresses for Byer California. I was given the opportunity to work on patterns, improve my technical flat abilites, as well as gain my first true taste in production for mass markets. Over the past year I have been with Stitch Fix Inc, where I was the Exclusive Brands Coordinator, moving back into the creative world of design for Womenswear. I particiapted in Line- planning each season, created design sheets, and was able to see each style from conception to bulk production.
I continue to work on freelance projects in my spare time and am in the beginning stages of a new collection, so stay tuned! I can be reached via email in my ‘Contact’ section for personal projects.
I am fortunate to have gained all the experience I have thus far. I am always open to new experiences and love creating something unique and breathtaking. Please take a look around, I hope you enjoy my collections as much as I do!
